It started (but still need your help with the turbo)
I finally started on Del Sol B16A2 turbo project. I have set my mind on two turbo chargers, Turbonetics Turbocharger 11017 T3/T4E 60 trim stage 3 .63 or Garrett T31/T04E 60 Trim. Aim is for 300-400hp at the wheels.
Complete engine rebuild inc:
-SRP low compression pistons 8:1 (inc pins, rings, ect)
-Eagle connecting rods
-Skunk2 Stage 1 turbo camshafts
-Skunk2 Titanium valves
-Skunk2 dual valve springs & titanium retainers
-Skunk2 adjustable cam gears
-Skunk2 fuel rail
-Darton sleeves
-ARP head bolts
-RC 750cc injectors
-Walbro 255l fuel pump
-ACT Street light flyhweel
-ACT 400 FT/LB clutch
With regards to engine management it looks like its going to be Honda S300 with boost option. Suspension, cambers, brakes will all be upgraded during the progress of work but probably at a last stage as the car will be fully resparyed inc engine bay while the engine is being rebuilt.
There's other few bits that I need to collect inc full gasket kits, main block bolts (again this will be ARP), trying to find ITR oil and water pumps, valve stems ...
However I'm now about to order just the turbo and intercooler and hence need to decide on that, while the rest of the parts to follow in the next few months ..
Mishimoto radiator, slim fan and mounting kit, intercooler plus other parts should be delivered tomorrow. I ordered valve seals yesterday and will get the valve locks, bearings and complete gaskets after xmas, then I can start putting the engine together ..

Re: (postman)
I hate to sound mean, but why in gods name would you spend money on sleeves, but get SRP's? The same amount of people have had problems with SRP's as they have all other brands combined (and that includes CPs). Given the fact you're tossing cams in too, I wouldn't go bigger than a 57trim (btw, there's NO period before trim #'s, only AR #'s). I've seen plenty of B18's hitting 400whp on 57's with pump gas - stock sleeves. Unless you go 84mm with the sleeves, you can run the 'smaller' turbo and push it further, otherwise the 60trim will do nothing besides offer a later spool since you have stong sleeves.

Re: It started (yakuza)
Engine's out ... Was b***h to take out and also was a b***h to put inside my 3 door civic to take away.
From the ECU serial number I conclude its an OBD1, so should work with Hondata S300 straight forward.
More posts and pictures to follow on the next weeks as the engine is taken apart, block machined, head ported and plished, crank and flywheel balanced and polished, most exterior parts blasted and powder coated, cam cover CNC machined to show the cam gears, etc.
Also will need to start on the suspension upgrade either SKunk2 Pro coil overs complete suspension, Tien Basics or buddy club, camber kits, etc.

Re: It started (yakuza)
i don't see why you don't use a 50 trim .63 hotside with either a stage3 or 5 wheel?
it will make the power you want and spool 300-500 rpm's faster than the 57 trim
example bone stock gsr from another thread look at that spool

Re: It started (spoolin turbo s)
I have gone with Garrett T3/T4 with compressor housing .60 A/R & 57 trim wheel, turbine housing .63 A/R stage 3 but not sure if this will allow me to achieve 400 at the wheels.

Re: (LShatchie)
Next box to come through will include Skunk2 Pro full coil over suspension, Skunk2 rear adjustable camber kit and lower control arms, Ksport front camber kit, Mishimoto aluminum radiator, Mishimoto 14" slim fan and hoses.
Mean while I decided to do the head port and polish my self, so bought head from salavage yard today to practice on before doing my owns.
Next need to research into the brakes department. Most likely going for Brembo 4 piston calipers, there's just so many of them floating where I'm for for cheap from smashed up wrx, skylines, z300, sx200, etc. The next task will be how to make custom adaptors to fit them onto the del sol!!!!
