Default Start up with 450cc injectors on P30 virgin

sorry mods if i posted in the wrong section. First start up was yesterday. The most I have had the car running is maybe 30 sec.
Will I be fine if I let the car get to operating temp. will the ecu adjust pulse width enough so i'm not running excessively rich @ idle. The exhaust smells fine... I just wanna be safe and not wash out.
TIA
btw I searched and all i came up with was no start, hard start, trouble starting.

You won't get this to start on a bone stock ECU. Unfortunately, you'll just flood the rings out without a basemap or adjustment on the pulse width.

I've already fired it up, I think i'm just being over protective. i'm firing on all cylinders, then i should be just fine. I'm not haveing black smoke come out the exhaust or anything, and i'm not misfiring.

If the engine is new then you are going to wash out your rings and have to go back in there. Im guessing its a new engine as you said first start. You need to get your ecu chipped to control those injectors.

it may idle but does it drive? and unless you have a wideband you really dont know whats going on regardless of black smoke or exhaust smell.

i think you have already made up your mind and are just looking for re-assurance. no one on here is going to tell you to run that way for any period of time

quit messing with it and get a $20 chip kit so you can atleast run the injectors properly.. should have thought about tuning when you decided to go turbo, now you're trying to run the car half assed. good job

I know back when i first turboed mine using 450 injectors it would not start at all, but that was using DSM 450's and a resistor box.

he might have some saturated 450's that will let the car start, but like everyone is saying it will wash the cylinders out and cause some big problems, hell my brother's civic started with saturated RC 750s, but it wasn't drivable till it was atleast basemapped

I have decided to screw letting it get to operating temp. I've started it twice. Both were for around 15 seconds. No oil leaks, psi tested the cooling system and fixed a leak. I pulled a spark plug and it is starting to turn black. Now i'll do all the final touches and trip to the tuner.

I was thinking theory, but i was wrong. 450's are too big for the ecu to pull enough ms. I was never even thinking about driving the car.

Duh, i can just swap my b16 injectors back in and let it warm up.
