Seems like u barely got that running, something mustve been wrong. Your using a flex pipe for exhaust right? Weird, never knew SSauto start bracing the WG flange now. At least their collector looks better then before. -=P

Works for me. and 5 other friends I know that are using this manifold, locally. No problem...Maybe faulty? or something bad happen? o_O

Wells better look next time.

I re-welded the cracks and they broke again right on top of the weld. Using SFP manifold now. Absolutly no problems with that one

SSAutoshit

If that is all that is wrong with it, your lucky...My wastegate fell completely off! Like it was hanging by the vac lines...the weld at the collector failed!

should people feel sorry for you?

Seriously. Like what's the point of posting pics of broken SSAC manifolds anymore? We all know they break. Who cares? That's the gamble with buying them.

I knew SSautochrom was crap before I bought all this, but I said to myself that this would not happen to me, and that I would be different. I know that This thread is somewhat redundant to other threads, and by all means, I am not here to get anyones sympathy. I just want to share my experience with others that may have chosen this thread as their deciding factor on not buying SSautoChrome

That sucks...

I know at least 5 people locally that are using SSautochrome manifolds on their upcoming setups... I keep telling them to switch them out for a different mani before they even put them on... but they won't listen to me...

Oh well, I guess I warned them.

just make me feel like singing...do do do...another on bites the dust.

Hey last weekend I finally personally got to see one break. Now I can say I've not only heard about them breaking...I've seen it too...lol

Any bracing at the turbo done? If so can we see pics to see if it was done right?

I had the obx clone to the ssac, it held just fine for months. I had it braced so that the weight of the turbo was reduced, no issues. was just something to get me by for ahwhile and it did its job just fine.

well i personally held a spark racing manifold ( accord freak) and that manifold had some thickness and weight on it. some ppl have cracked them before. but honestly . everymanifold is going to crack. eventually it happens it just dpends how soon. a full race WILL crack. im sure theyve had ppl return them for warranty work. you just dont hear about it . and im sure their customer service is great and turn aroudn time is lightening fast, so the customers always satisfied.

no such thing as an invincible turbo manifold. IMO

honestly why post this? Its been posted over and over again. Also I am willing to bet that you had no bracing of the turbo from the block. When will people learn that to be successful with these manifolds you have to do that?

I don’t know about u but my ssauto is working well for me, it’s been 2 months now and nothing. U guys just do something half *** and it breaks. I have it on an h22 with a t3/t4 with a flex pipe. I sometimes think that its has something to do with how your car drives. What suspension you us because hitting pot hole with cut springs is harsh. Could that have an affect? I believe so.

It was on the dyno when it broke. As soon as we made 186whp, we started hearing an exhaust leak. Problem=manifold
