Spiking oil pressure and blowing blue smoke like a *****
93 LS-T runnin about 5 psi daily.... I've driven the car with the turbo for about a month now with no problems til tonight
When I accelerate the oil pressure spikes to 95psi and it only used to max out at around 75-80 and now I took the downpipe off to see what the hell was going on and there was oil all in the downpipe. the plugs are clean and the charge pipes are free of oil.... What the hell could be wrong? Should I get a reducer for the oil inlet for the turbo? Why would this all of a sudden give me problems?
Thanks guys!

what kind of an oil filter are you using if its a honda one try an s2000 one b/c honda has reduced the size of there filters compared to the old ones which are now s2000 one hopefully thats the culprit but it sounds like the seals went if theres oil in the downpipe just trying to be optimistic for ya

Re: (FRANK_WHITE)
It's just weird cuz when it happened I wasn't even getting on it at all. I drove it for about 2 minutes and i looked back and MY GOD. So I turned around and went home and cried myself to sleep... lol It did it to me about 2 weeks ago... I turned it off checked it out for about 15 minutes and turned it back on and it was absolutely fine... I still don't know what the hell to do

I agree the turbine seal is gone and your burning that oil up in the DP.
Most likely you need a better drain or smaller feed. Oh and a turbo re-build

Re: (White Smoke)
hmmm... Well I'm gonna change the oil and I'm thinking of putting in some 20-50... and possibly getting an oil restrictor.
For some reason the oil pressure is really high. I figured the return line was clogged but i poped that off and it flowed fast as hell with ease. Why would the oil pressure INCREASE about 20psi if the oil is leaking out of the turbo seals? that's what I can't understand. Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't the pressure DECREASE because of the leak?
