I just switched to a Spec Stage 3+ from a Tilton twin disc. The factory rep recommended it when I talked with him. The Tilton would have been great for drags but to grabby for me, for the street.
The Spec Stage 3+ is good for over 490 ft. lbs. tq @ the flywheel.
I'm making 515 whp & 386 wtq. The Spec holds well, has light pedal pressure and is great for street use.

I used the stage 5 in my Integra a few years ago when it was making 580whp and 430 lb ft. It worked great and lasted for two seasons.
I agree with purpleh22. the 3+ will work fine and be much better on the street. Are you using a cable or hydrolic tranny?

I never had a problem shifting nor have I heard of anyone else having a problem.
