i know many of you guys have experience with this intercooler
im trying to make around 450-500 whp
could this intercooler handle it? Would i run into any problems like heat soak from this intercooler. i searched this site and many people are trying to sell their spearco intercoolers. i wonder why?

Uh, Spearco has been around way longer than Precision so "more brand name" = Spearco > Precision.

don’t go by what’s selling in the classifieds as a means of finding out what’s good and what isn’t. people are constantly changing their set-up, buying the wrong stuff, getting out of “the game” or just need money. There’s over 200 threads where people are selling their Precision intercooler. Find out if that core will support your planned hp, do some research on it, and then use it…or don’t.

Spearco Has always been a top name and make a top notch product. Main reason I am runnin a Precision fmic is cause I got such a deal on it.

I think you would be fine with that one.

Precision has the same size core and they rate it at 675hp. I am sure the Spearco is in the same general area.

Is it a bar and plate design or a tube type?
