SPAL fan relay wiring question EF
Found the below info on a old SPAL thread... just want some confirmation
SPAL fan relay that comes in the kit:
BLK/RED (rad fan connector) = 86 = EF radiator fan black/yellow wire ?
BLK (rad fan connector) = 85 = EF radiator blue wire ?
user's 20A fused +12vdc = 30 10 gauge
user's wire to SPAL Red/+12vdc = 87 10 gauge
SPAL Black/GND = Chassic Ground 10 gauge
Pretty much just using the 2 old EF fan wires to be used on the relay. This is in order to make the fan work like OEM comes on at the normal temp.
When using the 2 old fan wires from EF black/yellow and blue wire this is done after stock OEM relay and before Fan Motor? meaning the stock OEM relay is still retained and used with all of it's OEM wires along with the new SPAL relay?
