Re: SPA-6000 TUBRO
compressor is similar to a T67 (65mm, vs. a 66.7mm from Garrett) exducer is WAY bigger than a T67, so that changes the trim on the compressor.
The turbine wheel/shaft is similar to a P-trim exhaust wheel, but I doubt very seriously that there's any machining available to put a P-trim in a .48A/R. And if you did, that's something you don't want to try.

Re: SPA-6000 TUBRO
Im not striaght up bashing them. When i examine everything, it seems like an over priced turbo that has little or no long term use in this industry. Im not claiming to know everything, but ive been around this stuff a while. Just sayin it looks like the same turbos you can buy on SSAC for alot more money. For that money you can buy a decent turbo that has alot of positive feedback and support and know its gonna work. Just my .02
**EDIT**
I did some looking around and the little info i found about the SPA turbos was actualy all positive. Seems most the info i fond was guys mostly running them on Nissan drift cars. So i apologize about the bad camment earlier about them looking cheap. Seem to be decent turbos. Cant find anyone with long term use, but im assuming its cause they are prolly in their infancy. Pick one up, roll with it and let us know how it works out.

SPA as i found out has been building turbo's for almost 20 years....and its definitely not "ching chong" stuff as you so elegantly put it.

Now you're kind of being a dick by not allowing him to give his opinion. Read his posts a few more times and realize that he didn't say that they were DEFINITELY " overpriced ching chong" stuff, he said they LOOK LIKE overpriced ching chong stuff, big difference.
