Sorry HT, I got no choice now
Mods, if you could leave this here for awhile I'd really appreciate it.
I've been here for nearly 3 years, and its been a long, fun journey. I've learned from you, and hopefully, you've learned from me. All the while, I was assembling my "masterpiece" Civic, taking it slow.
Well, life works funny, sometimes it gives you gifts, and other times it poses you with difficult situations. I've been faced with the latter recently. One month ago my Dad was diagnosed with cancer of the prostate. Fortunately for us, it was discovered very early. Lacking both health insurance and the funds needed to pay for the surgery which will save his life, I'm faced with a very expensive hospital bill (12k + after care). I'm blessed, however, that I have the means of solving this situation.
At this time, I need to sell my project. The small stuff I can sell, but I don't wish to seperate the motor. Here's the spec's
Cylinder head: 95 GSR
Toda Cam gears, JG/Edelbrock Victor X intake manifold (polished), Hondata heat shield intake manifold gasket, Cometic head gasket, Portflow porting, enlarged and deburred combustion chambers, Ferrera .5mm oversized valves, Portflow/ITR valve springs, Skunk2 valve retainers, ARP head studs, 65mm AEM modded throttle body
Block 95 GSR
84.5mm Endyn/Wiseco pistons 9:1 CR, Crower connecting rods, Golden Eagle Godzilla sleeves with integrated block guard, copper O rings, balanced crank and assembly, Prodrive USA oil pump gear, new Honda bearings and seals throughout, Moroso oil pan, Honda timing belt.
I've also got a RPS Carbon/Carbon clutch and flywheel already installed on it along with a thermal coated valve cover.
I'm asking $9,000. If you could pass this along to anyone you know, I'd appreciate any help. Your prayers are also welcome Thanks for helping me in my time of need.

I am sorry to hear of this. Although I will vouch for this motor being extremely clean and the build is simply top of the line. He skimped no where in this motor and hopefull someone out there is interested!

Re: Sorry HT, I got no choice now (VaporTrail)
John,
I have never met you, but I know Mase talked a lot of good things about you when he was up here this weekend. I am sorry to hear about your father, maybe instead of selling your project you could do some type of fund raiser leveraging honda-tech and some local business to contribute to a fund for your father. Cancer treatment is not only an emotional drain on a family but also an economical drain because it is so costly. I wish you and your father the best of luck. If there is anything I can do to help you out let me know.

Re: (Chillinit)
I just lost my stepfather to cancer. If only I had the opportunity to sell my stuff to save him....Good luck on a quick sale and you have my blessing.

I am very sorry to hear of the news, but it's wonderful to see that you have your priorities straight with family first. I wish you and your family the best of luck through these times.

Hang in there and keep your head up. Family should always come first. You are doing the right thing. I will ask around and see if anyone's interested.
