Default some more pics of my soon to be done kit

more pics! these are from yesterday, now the charge piping is done (and painted camo), the vaccum log is mounted, etc, and i am currently working on the intake, and oil drain. downpipe and exhaust, and a new crossmember, and she is finished. the crappy camera makes the welds look not so great, but they are wonderful for his first time welding stainless with the tig. awesome penetration, mostly pretty, etc (thanks jeremy). thanks to PAUL for the pic hosting, as always. i owe you like five high-fives, and a few tacos buddy.

what are these in the corner? another set of phonedials? what would i ever do with those? (i'm keeping the bmw wheels too)

The setup looks nice and all, but I'm just jealous you have a nice clean garage. Every spring we clean out my garage and by mid summer its full of ****. I assume the garage is heated which makes me even more jealous.

Nice setup

I'm loving the back door intercooler, I'm definately going that route with my next turbo setup.

LOL
Thats looks great, cant wait to see it at the meet coming up and at the track. Did you end up making a swirl can for it out are you just going to leave the cap mounted higher?

no swirl can, i determined it really wasnt necessary(not that much of a height diff)

its not a neon radiator, it is an enormously thick griffin core, (3.5''), and its shorter and skinnier than a stock ef one, so, with a custom rad crossmember, it fits nicely below the rad support

i forgot i said in the paragraph that it was finished........

You have strange taste in paint my friend. Camo, white, baby blue, on a red car...

said before and I'll say it again... That radiator is the hot sex. All the cooling of an enormous full size rad with all the compactness of a half rad. Ideal placement imo.

well, the bottom end is "built" (srp's/eagles)

i'm planning on TRYING to make about 350 whp, stock head, but i'll probably be lucky to get 300.

we'll see. i really dont care about #'s as much, i just wanna drive it again (been apart all winter, almost done)

its purpose in life is to be fun. daily driven, road course driven, drag strip driven, and intended to do well doing all of them. it did all those well in its past life (stock engine, weaker kit)

What size Turbo? Even 300whp is tough on those little motors...350whp I don't think is doable on pump-gas without having some problems.

yeah, we'll see. its just a goal...several vitara users have done 300 whp fairly easily (one on a stock hx head/cam)

right now it has a .60/.48 garrett hybrid i threw on it.

it will be getting either a gt2871r, or a holset hy35w.. i would like 275 whp on the turbo that is on it right now, but we'll see.

is that rad an off the self piece or something you had made?

that looks liek what i've been needing for my car. EFs are a bitch to cool without spending gobs of cash.

it is an off the shelf rad, modified by me.

we installed a coolant temp bung in it, and welded honda outlets onto it (had 2'' and 1 3/4'' outlets. )

what was it for originally? and when you say you welded honda outlets onto it did you totally refabricate the end tanks or just cut out the bigger nipples and weld on some smaller ones?
