SOHC zex nitrous decision AGAIN!!!!
Well im almost certain that i am going to be getting a zex kit and spraying a 65 shot. My question which should i buy dry or wet? I think wet is so much safer and i have less to worry about since it does fuel also. What about a dry kit, are they not that great, all the ones on ebay are all dry, i cant find any wet kits for like 300-350 shipped but dry kits are selling for that much. What are you SOHC guys using. Any info would be nice. Think with my mods i can hit 14s and with a 65 shot?

I was running a ZEX dry kit on my D16Z6, I had no problems running the 75 shot, I race at my local 1/8 mile track and ran a E.T of 9.35@77MPH I just retarded the timing by 2 degrees and used the ZEX plugs, standard bolt ons and a MSD SCI plus ignition/w blaster SS coil I drive my car daily and the only thing I replaced was the head gasket. good luck, oh I never ran the 1/4 in that set up but that would be a mid to high 14.

I rather run rich with more fuel then lean out with nitrous oxide only!

A dry kit adds fuel by raising the fuel pressure. If it didn't add fuel to compensate for the nitrous you would lean out and melt your engine INSTANTLY with a 55 shot. Did you actually think a dry kit just sprays nitrous into the combustion chamber with no fuel to compensate for the added nitrous?

Well his kit came with a 55, 65, and 75 shot. So he couldn't have put a bigger jet in

9psiTurboSI doesn't seem to understand that a dry nitrous kit has fuel jets.
