Tuning, tuning, tuning. Play with your cam timing some.

I agree. Best band for the buck! Sounds like you needed more tuning or fix the cam timing.

I have an almost identical set up and my peak tq was at 7 grand and peak power was at my redline of 7500rpm with the Zex cam. Only difference is I run 9.0:1 compression pistions and the same boost level. Something seems to be off here. Your Tq drops off very fast.

I went with a Delta 272 cam, its a high lift n/a cam but **** is it ever amazing
Was much better up top then my Zex cam, I sold my used zex cam for like $150 and bought the new regrind 272 for $130 shipped
Getting a 700rpm idle was a pain though, little lumpy

Fix your boost first, looks like its falling off in the higher rpms. With that turbo it should not be doing that. Your HP takes a **** after like 6k. (thats highly attributing to your torque loss)

What was your A/F from 6000 to 8000?
I'm running a JG 85vt35 cam running straight up it makes great torque to 7500rpm then slopes off slowly. The idle is a little rough though.

The car idles good, just like stock isnt fully tuned, I have new i/c. IM and methanol injection kit to try out. The tuner wanted more time but I was about to be deployed so I couldnt leave my car, trying to figure out the avc-r too. In a month or so I will have new #'s with a lot more boost

Are you sure you fixed that? Do you have a mechanical guage to confirm?
