The most I've seen locally is 383whp..on stock sleeves(with 2 block guards) running 27PSIs.
These guys have 2 EF hatches with A6 motors and theyre both daily drivers..they run 11 sec on drag radials.

A6 block is NOT stronger, it just has a iron main caps but still has alloy girdle.

as far as high hp on stock sleeves w/o any guards or anything, about 285-310 is the max I'ld go. that's about 17-18psi. more than that your mostlikely going to crack a sleeve. Rememebr the D sleeves are "THINNER" than the B series stuff. Thus not being able to take as much pressure.

if guys want to tempt death then let them when it comes to their motors, but if you want stability, then 310 or so is all i'd look at. Blockguards cause lots of heating and detonaion issues if your goig to spend that much $, then don;t be cheap, sleeve it at that point.

There is 1 meduim I recommend and that
s posting. Endyn posts blocks for around $400 or so I believe and this allows you to run a couple of more psi and up to maybe 340 or so hp.

hope this helps. good luck
