Default SOHC ninjas - who's running a .040" (or 76mm) overbore on stock sleeves?

I've read a lot of stock sleeve SOHC buildup threads where people are using 75.5mm pistons, just like DOHC guys are using 81.5mm pistons.

Anyone here running a 76mm (or 82mm) stock sleeve setup with forged internals? I am interested in running the Vitara pistons, but the block I have does not allow me to run stock bore because the cylinders are out of round. The next size up is .040" overbore, which is 76mm.

I think USDM 4G VTEC is running 76mm pistons, anyone else?

I already have a Y8 block, but thanks.

Isn't that block fucked due to a spun rod bearing?

Done... can we be friends now?

Enough with the chit-chat, back to tech. Why do you wanna run a larger bore?

I did a GSR 82mm bore stock sleeves with forged pistons and it has been running strong for several months now with no problems and we did a y8 block .40 over stock sleeves running strong as well.
