Default SOHC MONSTER!!! GREDDY/ PRECISION/ AUTOLOGIC

We had a customer drop his car after some low-life thieves stole the IC and piping from his GReddy SOHC turbo kit.. this is the result..

9:1 CP Pistons
Eagle Rods
GE block guard

Looks menacing doesnt it?

construction in process.. IC courtesy of PTE

Autologic 3in DP for the GReddy SOHC...

And the finished product...

The results..

185whp 160tq @ 7psi
204whp 185tq @ 10psi
251whp 220tw @ 15psi

Frog will be hosting the dyno graph and Ill post in a bit..

The car has 440cc injectors and Hondata S100 with a 3bar. 3in thermal Exhaust, and a pretty Tial BOV.

Yea, sorry I posted "courtesy of PTE"; Precision Turbo & Engine.

Its a bad *** little IC, I think its very conservative rated at 380hp. Also VERY affordable.

Nice numbers but the tq drop a lot after 6k. Could it be due to the turbo not flowing enough @ 15psi ? It doesn't seem to do it at a lower pressure.

yea... I played with the BC a bit more and got it to hold more steady at 13-15psi.. but the numbers posted were the best. That lil turbo is workin its *** off.. Im still in shock it made that much power.

Yeah, Mitsubishi TD04-15G. Very impressive numbers! I would probably be satisfied at 7 psi. Love the way that block looks, too. *drool*

thats pretty sweet. ill end up with a d16z6 here in a little bit. it was overheated so i know the headgasket is blown and prolly cracked some sleeves. but its my sisters car so im giving her a working d15.
but sleeved, built, etc. on a t3/t4 how much can those little SOHC's make at say 20-25 psi????
im thinking of selling my current car and building up a EF with that built d16
later

ps - that car is pretty ******* cool

No, I used to run a GReddy SOHC turbo kit, and it uses a Mitsubishi turbo. Read it on their webpage. http://greddy.com/products/turbo_frame.htm
