Default SOHC greddy user chime in here!

Got my greddy kit installed a couple days ago and have a appointment to get tuned with Chrome monday

in my D16Z6 EG Hatch

was curious hw much boost you guys are running and what kind of numbers you made?

you can get 10psi out of the 15g if you port the wastegate hole out and tighten the wg actuator arm a couple turns. and get about 200whp out of them.

you definetly need a bigger downpipe. kteller.com makes one for the kit.

I ran 10-11 psi on the 15g kit, on the stock y7 and I made 187hp/194tq tuned on crome back in 05.

I got 10-11 psi to redline on my 19T D16Y8, limitations were the stock fuel pump and MAP sensor.

wow 10-11 psi how long did the engine hold up?

Until I slammed a center divider :D
I sold the y7/y8 block for $400
It's all in the timing.

dont think I have the 15g kit tho

the specs say td0 something 14b

yep im a fool lol

i checked it its the

TD04H-15G

so I can simply adjust the watsegate rod and get 10 psi? no need for a $80 manual boost controller?

no you need the boost controller lol.. and also need to port out the internal wastegate hole.

Got 9.5psi out of acuator arm. Any more and you'll need boost controller and new map.
