So.. The SRT4 is the BADDEST 4cyl ever!!
So I get a call to look at a car, SRT4. it has some good stuff on it..
GT3040R
Tial 38mm
Tial BOV
Mopar stage 1 ECU
PowerPaq piggy back fuel computer
Griphin intercooler
we start tuning it.. it goes dead lean at 4500rpms.. no fuel..
I bring it back to the shop, and drop in the usual suspects..
Aeromotive A1000 pump
#8 feed
#4 return (from previous tuner)
Precision 880cc Injectors
HONDA Injector resistor
we went back to the dyno to see what the extra fuel would do...
Keep in mind the Engine is COMPLETELY stock. the only thing changed has been the spark plugs and oil.
We will be taking it to the track tomorrow we will see what it does with the power.

DAMN! Very impressive.
Do those cars run a mass air sensor or pressure sensor? Also, what kind of gas was this power made on?

Re: (Hella_JDM)
I'm usually not one to put a car down just because of it's make....I even own a Chevy now....but there are a few I would never buy again. Dodge and Subaru, and of course the oddballs like Yugo
Never the less, good numbers, although...there are assloads of cars out there doing this now so it's no longer shocking to people. A big turbo and a good tuner can work wonders on the assiest of cars
I am surpirsed more people don't have these, but I guess it makes sense. Somebody that buys a Neon can only afford a Neon. I know the SRT is cheap, but it's still more than the regular Neon. Somebody wanting a turbo car right now is going to go for a WRX since that's still one of the more popular cars to be seen in these days.

Re: (Bryson)
I'm not a big fan of an ECU that can only control high Z injectors running low Z injectors via a resistor ****... er, resistor box? No... no, I think I mean resistor ****.
Assemble an injector flowbench sometime, wheel the o-scope up to it. Monitor voltage drop across the injector on the first channel, and a knock sensor hooked to the fuel rail (shows you when the injector "clicks" open) on the second channel. Examine high Z injectors vs low Z injectors w/ resistor ****. *You will be horrified*
~$200 for one of the external low Z injector driver boxes that trigger off of the OEM ECU's injector pulse isn't very expensive by the balla spec.

Where can one of these external low Z injector driver boxes be purchased at?

The dyno run is nice but I dont think itll be able to make a full 1/4 pass without breaking something
