Well, you know how a wrx can throw an exhaust on and gain 20hp or use a different intercooler, maybe change a downpipe and add power without needing to be retuned or flashed? Can we do that with our boosted honda's? Can I up and decide to add an intercooler sprayer, change my downpipe, use an octane booster, whatever..and not affect my recent tune, but add horsepower? Basically what can us turbo boys do to make a few extra ponies post tune?

iirc, the utecs have a map selector. meaning the chip has various programs for upgrades. you can do this with any honda based ecm, but you have to burn chip/re-flash(im using that as a term thats all for the s300 style ecms) for the upgrades.
with that said, if you have a tune for each of the future upgrades, yes you can just load the program for each upgrade.
i have seen that every honda is a little different.
a universal tune will get you close, but wont be perfect.
if you make changes as drastic as intercooler, down pipe etc, you should have a tune to back it. any drop in intake temp you can get more aggressive, and a down pipe will change spool characteristics, and the turbo will react differently.
if the car is tuned right, there really isnt anything you can do w/o needing a tune. how do you get more power? adding air? if thats the case you need to add the fuel accordingly. see where in goin?
hth and makes sense.
