Smoke at partial throttle immediately after WOT boost.. Why?
first off - the motor is untuned , so the smoke may simply be burnoff of excess fuel from the boost tables...
The block is fully built, along with arp studs and a brand new head gasket... It smokes immediately after boosting, but never during (as far as i know)... Just a small puff of smoke at partial throttle after i return to vacuum... I dont spend too much time boosted since it runs like absolute **** untuned...
ideas -
1) The PCV system is creating pressure in the head, which seems back through the valve seals...
2) Turbo seals..
3) Just running too damn rich...
The smoke isnt steamy *** white like coolent would look.. But its also not black like a super rich engine... And i find it hard to believe the head gasket is blown since the oil has so far to get to the pistons...
Ideas? Ill check plugs and charge pipes tonight...

If you have the nipple on the turbo compressor housing connected to any part of the crankcase ventilation system, then that will be your culprit... do you?

Had it hooked up to the manifold for a while... now im running a mini filter... i had some troubles with cam seals leaking too while the PCV was running off of the manifold... might solve both problems at once... Pulled the plugs tonight... all of them look brown... nothing out of the ordinary that i can tell... a little black around the edges from running rich as hell....
