smoke from the motor, but good compression
This is an a obd1 jdm 1.5 vtec (d15b) which has the problem. I previously believed the turbo was smoking, but now i disconnected the exhaust and the blue smoke is comming from the exhaust ports. it smokes when i rev it quickly.
the compression is 230-210-210-210, 4-3-2-1.
i have an idea on what the problem is, but i would like to see what everyone else thinks.
Thanks for the help,
Nick

if it smokes under full throttle your rings are bad ..(your compresion will be fine it will just be burning oil)
If it smokes when you shift gears or let off the throttle its valve seals. When the engine goes into vacuum it sucks oil past the seals...
