SMOG and CARB CA FI Owners.
I have a turbo S2000, and I'm trying to decide if I should continue with the project and build up the block. I was wondering for people in CA that have turbocharged their car, how do you deal with SMOG/CARB. Do you register it at all. TIA

If you do the installation work all yourself, it's really not that tough to un-install your turbo for smog check. It took me under 3 hours to get my car totally back to smoggable condition, including swapping injectors, removing all turbo related parts, and reinstalling relatively stock pieces. It's also a good opportunity to "clean up" parts of your install, etc.

Last time I smogged was at this ghetto station that didn't even care about my turbo. I'm gonna see if they'll smog me again when my date rolls around in may. If not, I'll just swap some stock stuff on, not that big of a deal.
