sleeving a block? yes, but what's the best bore size 4 turbo???
hey i just decided to sleeve my gsr block but i'm just wondering whats the best bore size for turbo???
i did a search all over but i can't find a good answer
jgdinamics says 82mm is good for 50psi-max and 84mm good for 45psi-max.
about my power goals (get the most HP out of a t3/t61 probably around 22psi)

I remember asking the late Earl (rip) the same question a few years back and he recommended 83mm just in case I had a mishap and I needed to rebuild so I could still go to 84mm. If you start at at 84mm and something goes wrong, although you technically can go bigger Earl didn't think it was a good idea with a lot of boost (due to thin walls between the cylinders on the 85+mm builds).
