81.5mm, more rooms just in case you need to enlargen the combustion chamber in the future.
with 81.5, you can do 82, 83, 84, 84.5 mm in the future.

also if im gonna go for 350 at the wheels alot of people are saying that i should just use stock sleeves. i think i might change my mind down the road and want more boost, plus sleeves are good insurance for me.

Are you lowering the comp ratio? If you are i'd suggest the 84mm just because of the simple fact that you don't have to downshift to pass someone in 5th gear.
I'm going 84mm with a 2.04L stroker kit if that helps. If you'd like I could let you check it out next year when I'm done with it.
Edit: GO TERPS!!

Re: (Flamenco-T)
i agree with Flamenco-T.
what if you go 84mm right off the bat and something unfortunate happens. What are you going to have to do next...(resleeve = more money) just a thought.

Re:
one of my mentor used to tell this to me all the time,
"start small, turn up the boost, then if you screwed it up, go with the next size shelf pistons you can get, keep going until you get to 84mm, then afterwards sell it to the all-motor guys.. "

I'd start with 83mm. You still get the benefit of the added displacement, but you can go bigger if need be. You can still go 83.5, 84, and 84.5. If you blow it up more than that then you've got bigger things to worry about!

Re: Re: (tony1)
depends on how much power you want to make. As your power output goals increase, the extra cylinder wall strength's ability to raise boost is more important than the extra displacement imho. Plus the ability to rebore/hone is a nice catch.

Re: (GEN2TEG)
I was in this dilemma too with my B16, but had a few other concerns in addition to what Flamenco has already said:
1)Chambers on the head would need to be larger, or at least thats the way I would go to be safe. This kind of headwork = $$$
2)Cylinder walls would be thinner, despite having the reinforced sleeves.
3)If you blew a head gasket, you can't really go down to the Honda dealer and pick one up. You'd need to order one, which takes time and more money.
Personally I went with 81.5mm overbore, leaving me options down the road if I decide to go larger bore.
I don't see why going with 81.5mm overbore would make it difficult for you to obtain your hp goals.
If torque is your main concern, maybe you should go with the larger bore. But, you didn't say anything about torque.
