Skunk 2 intake manifold worth it on a stock intern LS turbo?
I was thinking about getting a skunk 2 intake manifold on my stock intern LS turbo running at 10psi. I no the LS head is really weak and stops producing tq after ~6400rpm. My question is, is the skunk 2 manifold worth it bc I'm on stock revs (6900K) and I read that this manifold starts making good numbers around 7K rpm. Any LS have this without porting or polishing their head? And can I run my stock throttle body with this or will I need to get a new one? Also, is the Skunk 2 intake manifold the same height as stock LS?

The skunk2 or type R manis are better for low to moderate boost settings because they make most of their power in midrange. The JG, Venom, GE intake manifold all make their power up top. They are better for high boost and bigger turbos.

so is it worth it on an ls or is my gain like +5hp/tq? Anyone know if skunk 2 is the same height bc if i get it do I need to get a new charge pipe?

I'm not sure what you're asking... but if you want to change your powerband, then get the Skunk2 for better flow up top. If you just want more power, save your money and increase your boost instead of getting the Skunk2 cuz at 10 PSI you aren't really maxxing out thye b18b head or IM. I've seen 400whp on a stock b18b head and IM
