Default Show me how you did your>>> intake(filter) to turbo<<<

I need to get some ideas on how to do this. I have a 99 Si with a rev-hard cast mani and I need to run a filter set up off the turbo. I have slim fan on left side were the pipes need to go. I know of the DRAG set up and the Greddy set up (witch Im not shure if this would work). And I wanted to see what you guys are running and how you aquired your set-ups? PICS WOULD BE GREAT!

ps>> will be k&n or apex-i filter

>>>>>>>No screen filter for me!<<<<<<<<<

Thanks Guys

I have a 99 Si myself. I bought myself a 2 3/4" u-bend and I'm gonna be cutting it in half right in the middle of the bend and then turning them opposite to each other to to make a S shaped piece of piping. The lower part of the bend goes to turbo, and the higher end will have the filter.

This is pretty much my filter pipe.

Were am I going to get the extra 40? Its not even worth spending that kind of money. This is the EXACT SAME THING FOR HALF THE PRICE....Why spend more?? The revhard peice is like 75-80 bucks and people want 75-100 for there drag setup. That is what this is post is all about! I Can just cut it if its too long! This is by far the BEST BANG FOR BUCK I have found yet!
Why dont you give me some ideas instead of putting mine down..
Thanks Anyway

35 shipped?!!!!

Since your gonna be doing some cutting anyways. Just buy a U-bend for like 20 bucks and cut it in half and get a coupler(it seems as though your on a budget). Atleast this way you'll know it'll fit and its cheaper.

This is what I was going to do. That will be 20$ +shipping (same price as ebay listing) then you have to get a filter and paint the pipe since it is verry ugly. This will cost more than 35$. I am going to buy this(I think) And sell the filter to my buddy who has a equal lenth tubular mani and is running a screen right now, for 15$. Now I have a nice, clean looking peice of polished pipeing for my polished turbo.. I think This is the BEST way.
Any one elce wana post up so pics?
Thanks Again Guys

I used a Chrysler Sebring Intake (that's right), perfect bend from the T-housing & matted it onto a VW oval K&N air filter.....

Price = $0.00 & 10-min to install...

Plus it's black allready, no need to powdercoat ....

The filter in the pic is an hks type. Is that what you are talking about? Real hks filter is prob. 70-80$. Look alike on ebay 15 shiped!
I my self do not like FOAM filters. IMO

yes, that is an HKS filter. and its basically the only one i found that was gonna fit comfortably in my engine bay. as far as the pipe goes its 3" mandrel stainless steel with a catch can nipple on the bottom side that u cannot see. the pipe i got made for 80 bucks and the filter i got from a friend for 20. works well and is an awesome fit.
