Shops exist for people like you. Not knocking you, but after you learn how a good setup is built and tuned, THEN you should think about doing your own custom setup. Just my $0.02.

Yeah, I'm a recovering horsepower junkie, and after 3 weeks in a coma and a 4 month stay at Jackson Memorial Hospital, I've decided that the best thing for me is BOOST. But I think my recovery is going well. Don't buy a kit, and don't get raped by some shop (your 4k will last about 20 minutes). Learn how to do the work yourself, and turn this hobby into a passion, no, an OBSESSION. Doing the work yourself is INFINITELY cheaper, and the end product is much more rewarding. Do your research. Learn. Good luck.

Turbo kits don't work on 98 civics. Honda put an anti-turbo chip in the radio harness. Your best bet is to get a 97, or a 99.
