attach the oil feed line to it from the back of the block then pull out all the spark plug wires from ur engine then crank it 4 times 10 seconds at time until u get oil coming from the feed line. When it starts to come out connect it to the turbo and crank it again. This will get the oil flowing throughout the turbo. Its called priming the turbo. After ur done u can put ur spark plug wires back into the engine and start it up.

If you want take some oil and drop it in the line and let it trickle down. The turbo wont spin at idle, but for peace of mind I guess you could do that.

Many turbos spin at idle. However must of us here on this forum have larger than neccasary turbos so a lot of them dont.

I would do that, and prime the turbo by cranking it over.

sorry you are right, many spin at idle, I do not know what I was thinking. I guess I ment they really do not spin that fast you can stop it with your finger, not that I would try. But prime the turbo and go on with it. It is easy and will make you feel better.

when i primed mine i just unplugged the ecu all together. prevents fuel and spark. made sure oil came out the feed line and then hooked them both back up.
