Default should I be happy with 307whp @230ft/tq?

Here is my set up

Engine: Ls/vtec

9:1 cp pistons
eagle rods
inline pro block guard
b18c1 p&p head (stock valve train)

garrett t3/t04e (57 trim 63a/r housing)
equal length mani
3inch dp
thermal 2.25inch exhaust

I made 307whp and 230ft/tq on 11psi, should I be happy with these numbers? I Was expecting a little higher numbers. Any comments welcome.

are you happy with it?

dont worry about what the h-t community thinks of your engine's output, the real question is if you are happy with it.

Those numbers are pretty average, actually pretty good. The 3" dp to 2.25 exhaust is a lot of restriction.

I am ok with it, I was expecting a little more. I was thinking around 325 or so, I was asking to see if this was expected for this kind of set up or was I just shooting a little high. I am really shooting for 400+whp but I was limited to 11psi due to injector duty cycle.

im just finishing up my ls/vtec now using the same turbo you have. im shooting for 300/225 to 230 at 10 psi. your #'s are fine, right in the ballpark of where they should be. i would be happy, but then again when i first dyno'd my ls at 238/204 i was kinda pissed, but then i realized it was right where it should be, and thats fine.

dont be as concerned with the #'s, its all about are you happy with the way the car feels and drives.

oh, boost fed ls- you would seriously benefit from a larger exhaust.

They're decent number, and only you know if you're going to be satisfied with them.

You replaced pistons, rods, P&P head, etc to get 300whp? If it was me, I would be shooting for at least 350whp with the setup you got.

What kind of engine management are you using? Your exhaust is killing you too, try to get an upgrade ASAP and you'll see quicker spool, and better numbers.

he can't boost more because of his injector duty cycle. I would be happy with what you have.

Don't expect miracle numbers with an incomplete setup. You need bigger/better duty cycle injectors to safely make more power, so go get them and post up your 400whp graph . That setup has 400whp in it, easy.

we made 297 on a DD dyno at 11psi

Setup...

Ls vtec
-81.5mm bore
-b16 completely stock head
-gsr cams
-eagle rods
-3 inch exhaust
-xs t04x (dont know specs)

could of made a little more but we decided to just stop there.

There is nothing wrong with those numbers at that boost level...i'd get 3'' exhaust all the way back and you'd deffinetly see some nice gains from that. But as people mentioned get bigger injectors and go for more boost.

Thanks for all of the replys, I need to finish my car and get it back on the dyno. I have been messing with nitrous as well. I want to run both nitrous and turbo all the time. I hooked up a friends kit on my car and on 9 psi and a 75 shot it went 12.4 at 118.8mph.
