Default Should I buy used crower rods????

ok this guy blew his motor with GE sleeves, JE pistons and crower rods due to bad tuning.. and he might sell the rods to me... it seems like the cylinder walls are scarred up.. now i'm just wondering if the crower rods would be affected?? I really want to buy those rods...

You need a picture of the rods, I wouldn't buy em without pictures of the rods.

they should be ok but you are always taking a gamble when buying used engine parts. they could be bent but you cant tell by the naked eye. look at the motor and see what blew and then you can usually tell if the rods are ok.if it just cracked a ringland or something then they should be ok.
