Default sheet metal intake actual gains

does the sheet metal intake gain through out the power band or is it just top end gains.... im currently looking into GE's ls sheet metal intake mani im gonna be running turbo cams and valvetrain taching roughly to 8600-8800. I dont want to loose all my bottem end to gain massivly up top. If gains up top are worth a little bit of lose then it will be ok.. Also this is a street car as well will it severly hinder my daily street tacing use? Im running an 84mm ls with gobs of tourqe. thanks for the help

well here is a dyno graph of a car with a hogans intake on it, i think it is robbing him of power greatly for street use http://www.boosted-hybrid.com/viewtopic.php?t=789

he's talking about a sheet metal intake manifold not a turbo exhaust manifold.
i have one on my car. but it has been on there from the very min. i put the turbo kit on. i was thinking of takeing it off to see what the differance would be. if you are not in any real hurry i think i might be doing this in a couple of weeks.

haha sorry i saw that. don't know what i was thinking

i was looking at my two dyno graphs and my power goes smoothly up. i am running a stock b20 with a 60-1 turbo. and a cast manifold. with a sheet metal intake manifold. at 4k i am making 160 and a 7 i top out at 210. i am told the 210 is because my injectors are too small.
