SFP manifolds,what do you think
Thats the only pic i could get.It cost about 425 for a b-series and is warranted against cracking.Im just deciding on going with a full race mani or something else.I have the money to get either but i cant decide.

Re: SFP manifolds, what do you think (J2turbo21)
The SFP manifolds are good quality. The Full Race manifolds are good quality also. if I had to choose i would take the full race manifolds, excellent design, and a lot of R&D behind them.

they are nice for what they are...THere is a lot of talk of these things being cheesy, but from what I've seen, they hold up fine, just like any other maniflod out there that is TIG welded.
If you're looking for a full-race and are on a budget, consider this one...

it's similar to teh SFp, but made by full-race with their materials

Ive got their 1st design thats been on my car over 2 years and I am completely satisfied with it. They have since came out with an improved design. If im not mistaken, they run the same manifold on their 9 sec race car and 11 sec street car. For race or daily driver the sfp manifold gets a from me.

I think the SFP manifolds are quality for the price, but i still think if u had to buy a mani for overall strenght, durability, and performance; regardless of price, id go with the Full-Race manifold....

Have you seen Venom's civic? They are making gobs of Horsepower and running with the fastest of the hot rod class. If you take a look at the engine bay, the manifold is teh simplest part of the motor setup. It's just a couple pipies welded together holding a turbo to the head
point is, all manifolds work, no matter what they look like. A log manifold can make power, same thing with an equal length....
I say go with waht your budget likes

I don't know about the tubular, but cast rev-hard is pretty durable. Even with a coat of rust .
Tubular I'd go with HyTech it's a little more live-able we'll say. (sorry geoff)

Re: SFP manifolds, what do you think (tzsir)
I have seen the SFP manifolds , And installed a few. For the money it is not bad at all.
All though the ones I put had to ground down to fit the lip on the block, also the bolt holes didn't fit real well. But nothing seems to fit anymore , I don't feel right bolting something on with out having to modify it in some way.
The manifold is mig welded and the tubes are tig welded.
I would suggest coating it .
