sounds like a stout setup but i would agree with the rods being the weak link esp if u have the money to run a m800. that turbo is plenty to make 700.. without spray

moneybags!
normally if you have to ask and have that much in it.....
IMO you should run boost no NAWSS, you goals should be pretty easy if you tune it right and can keep it problem free.

personally i have had eagle rods in all my motors but one. i have had no issue at all with them. htey have held up very well.
its not like i browse honda-tech and see eagle rods just flying to pieces either.
my car made over 600 on about the 4th pull on the dyno, havent had a problem out of them at all

did you see what ECU he is running
you wont need a 200 shot to reach your goal. it might take alittle over 35psi, but the 800hp you want is easily achievable.

Re: setup questions- 42r,200 shot, 16000cc, eagle rods, a1000 FP (.CUBISH.)
probably just come up on boost 500-1000 rpm later
instead of it coming in full song @ 6000-6500 he might be looking at ~7500 full boost. (imo, on a racecar that wouldnt matter, because the gear changes would still be above 7000-7500) but i supose that would depend on how high in the rpm range it makes power too, and where he feels comfortable shifting that pig.

i think the eagles will be alright ran them for years and have a gsr making 815 on them now,i did switch to pauters though.i would switch to a skunks2 tuner2 cam or a pro1.it is def. gonna be laggy might need they spray its gonna fall out of boost quick between shifts.

I'd think add 1000 RPM's to your guesstimates and that would be about right. I've seen some T3/T67 P-trim dynos on an 81.5mm B16 that didn't make full boost till 7000-7500 RPM's.

No...thats staying on my bucket for sure. The way this thread is going, I am expecting to see an OBX sheet metal manifold on his list of items.
