damn...thats cheap for a b13 ('91-94 sentra chassis) you will want to check for tranny probs...such as 5th gear popout, its common problem on those along with our used car checks. your thinking about "turbochargedb13" on here...havent seen him post in a while. as far as engine management, the easiest most reliable setup would be a JWT (Jim wolf Technology) ECU along with an larger MAF and injectors/rail/intank pump. the NA sr20s are pretty stout, they can make a lot of power with out touching the bottom end

i like sr20 b13's....i drive one

b13 se-r owns me...sell it to me for 800 shipped to newyork i miss mine

on a more serious note..SE-Rs can handle up to 400hp stock block....they are pretty good at that..the sr20det pulsar gtir motor has beefier rods 8.3-1 compression ratio individual throttle bodies...it can handle up to 500 hp stock block..thats the best sr20 ever made....

problem with the fwd layout is the tranny...5 gear pop out owned me big time...dont worry its not that expencive to fix though depending....the tranny is the only weak spot in high horsepowerd Se-rs you might want to weld the case or even cryro (sp) the gears...to give it some more strengh...

JWT tech does the COmputer work on most SE-rs but some go with apexi or emanange with stock ecu...jwt charges 500 with your ecu to remapp it..just tell them your set up...its 100 after that if you have added to your mods list....

walbro 255 intank is a good idea with either gti-r 440cc injectors or aftermarket 550cc...if you wanna run a T-2small then you can get the stock bluebird or gtir manifold...it shouldnt be a problem finding manifolds...hotshot fmax and other companys make them....

MAF- you can run ford cobra MAF or 300zx

as full race said...se-rs are good allmotor too..but since not alot of people run them all motor it gets expencive...you can run 300zx N/A pistons but you will need to do some customizing to the rods to make it fit..and do a 1mm overbore..you also may have to shave the dome off the piston...all of those modifications will give you 11:1 compression ratio...Ps..(thats alot this is not a honda) that with some head work 2000 se sentra crank and rods JWT C-series camshaft..and your prolly making 200 and over N/A horsepower...you can also go with the VE engines the sr20ve and the sr16ve..these engines have variable valve timing the sr20ve makes 190 hp im not sure how much the sr16 makes...there is a special sr16ve N1 that makes 200 hp n/a..the sr16 can be stroked using 2000 se sentra crank rods pistons...

go to sr20forum.com and do up some reading also check jgycustoms.com..have fun with your se-r..im now jealous of you

that's a FR T3/T67 and my motor isnt stock ya....the trannys arent very strong at all we have reweld'd mine twice the nice thing about the MAF based system and JWT, is that it is plug and play....you dont have to do any tuning. like he said, tell what you have and they will burn a chip/add a daughter board for you. i had a JWT ecu in my old car....installation went like this plug in ecu, install rail and injectors, install in tank pump, adjust fuel pressure, adjust static timing, and then its tuned also, jamie farrer used a JWT ecu in his 9 sec se-r

sounds good to me. so basically the tranny casing is weak as **** ? im hopin to get somewhere aroudn 350 whp. heheheh cuz essentially its a factory " built" motor right? what size injectors should i run? 550CC? 720?

imma run a log manifold that im going to make. 3 inch dp, 3 inch exhaust. and im still thinking about th eturbo size

prob .57 trim. 60A/R housing stage 3 turbine with .63 A/R

yup, the trannys are very weak we're working on a solution though

here's a stock tranny

here's what my weld'd trans looks like now

i would run the biggest injectors and MAF you can....that way you dont have to upgrade and that turbo will work just fine.
