Selling the POS pinball machine!! (56K no go!) Engine rebuild final phase...
Hi y'all...I'm two days away from getting my car back from the garage...and I'm totally stoked!! I stopped by there yesterday to dropped of my EGT probe...They will be installing it for me before the engine goes back in the car. So that means that the peice of **** Autometer A/F gauge (aka the pinball machine comes out and will be sold)
The engine was suppose to go in the car on Friday night, but the garage was too full. This beast was especially in the way:
Testarossa
Behind the Ferrari was the BMW race car (still on blocks on completely stripped) Its frame was being fortified with roll cages and steel beams:
In front of the BMW was my lonely B18c sitting on the floor:
It going in the car tonight as I write this. But this gave me a good chance to take a good look at the engine one last time out of it chassis. I never really thought of it before, but it is one amazing piece of machinary.
Next will begine phase II...the turning phase...this will be a bit more interesting I hope. those who haven't been able to follow my whole rebuild project, I am documentin this thing from beginning to end on my web site...hopefully it too will be done soon. It is pretty concise complete with photos and vids...

Re: Selling the POS pinball machine!! (swlabhot)
planning to do about 1.1 to 1.3kg/cm3 MAX...that's about 16psi (approx)...hopefully that'll yield about 350whp...but I would be more than happy with 300 to 325whp....once I get that all done...next is brake upgrade....doing NS-X calipers and rotors....Then work on the badly needed appearance...I need a serious wax job or polymer coat
