Icon6 see if you can identify this snail?!

i got a little info from searching but haven't seen pics of it on the internet to verify. all i have found was it might have coom off of a John Deere M300 or something. I am in iraq, buddy found it brought it to me and said "Here you can use it for decoration with your other car parts."

(i have a cam and piston and part of an oil pan that i cracked up in my pod. brought them half way around the world jsut to make it feel like a shop in iraq.)

here are the pics

it is not easy to get a good measurment of the turbine and compressor wheels cause my tools are extremely limited. i don't even have a crescent wrench right now. the turbo seems small but unique for running v-band and external wastegate actuation on a small application.

seems odd to be a desiel turbo but i could be wrong. and the A/R on that exhaust housing seemed really odd as well .96?? i am not that knowledgeable on turbos so teach me!

the main reason i am curious is because the v-band and external wastegate seem unusual for such a small turbo?

any thoughts?
