You wouldn't be worrying about a missing screen if it got sucked in, lol.

Throw another on.

Your compressor wheel would be all **** up, if it had sucked it in, trust me you know feel it.

it'd sound and run like ****, because you not only sucked a large piece of metal through a turbo, but most likely sent some of it into your motor.... You'd know it immediatly if it happend..... come on now, a lil common sense wouldn't kill ya

Does your car get into boost? If it does, you're fine.

You'll always start to "feel" things especially when you're unsure of something.

Unless you notice a DRAMATIC difference, it's probably just your imagination.

unless you're running a massive turbo, you're not really creating enough air flow to suck a screen in even a little bit, plus if it was loose... when your weren't in boost it would have likely vibrated and fallen off....and if you did manage to somehow do it, the gap between the blades/comp housing is damn near .01, you'd likely cause the comp wheel to shatter....... if your car is running bad, its not due to sucking a screen in.... i'll put money on it, you may have however sucked something smaller in there ex) a bug, some leaves.... in which case, your car would likely run differently

moral: Try to run an airfilter by all means for street driving

Something like that, but a tiny turbo on a bigger engine would create higher velocity air flow at the impeller.

The symptoms of it going through would be your turbo blades looking like somebody took sandpaper to them, and your motor probably dying from injesting a whole fuckpot of metal fragments. You didn't suck it in, or you wouldn't be driving your car.

think of this, something spinning around in a perfect circle at about 80krpms. now think of what happens if something hits it? chances are you would cause a vibration in the shaft causing the bushings to touch the shaft, causeing the shaft to heat up and possibly bend or break the exhaust/compressor wheel and you would definately hear a howl and no boost. i've had something go through the turbine wheel and **** up one turbo and damage another one just enough to where i rebuilt it and it still pumps like a champ. considering that, you probably did not suck it in.

not saying it couldn't happen but the screen doesn't have much surface area for the turbo to create a lot of suction on. So most likely it vibrated off one day.

How did you have it secured on there? Worm clamp? Was it gone too?

I would get a proper filter! Peace of mind!!

Use the screen only when road racing at track.
