Default sc61 question for all you pros out there.

im in the market for an sc61 turbo for my LS/vtec and was wondering if the S and SP compressor covers where both .70A/R or still .60A/R like the E cover. need quick response am purchasing tomarow!!!!!!!!!!

SP states its a TO4S ported shroud. Same .70 A/R cover, not that it really matters though.

The spool-up and power difference are really really nothing. I went 141 mph in a 2600lbs car and my tuner went 145 mph on a 2550 car. We were both using e-covers .

No. You're confusing the compressor housings with exhaust housings. The SC61 is commonly offered with a .63 A/R and .82 A/R turbine housings. The .82 A/R housing will spool slower than the .63 A/R housing, with noticeably more power on the top end. The A/R of the compressor housing virtually doesn't factor in when you're talking about spoolup.

what gains will a s-cover give over an e-cover?

s vs e cover wont really change anything... the s cover looks cooler though
