Sc 44 or the Sc61 cant decide
I cant decide on what turbo to buy i have done some research now and still having a hard time choosing a turbo. I have a acura integra b18c1 with a/c. Now i want to keep my ac so if anyone knows of a good manifoild that i can run with this set up that keeps my ac and power steering let me know. ok i have c-p piston 9-1 and eagle rods stock compression gasket and inline pro block gaurd. my goals are to have 300-400 hp for the first year and may be go up later on when i get a beater. what turbo do you think would be best for me also if you have the turbo your self or rode in a car with the same set up how did you like it and was it streetable?

I'd go for the smaller turbo just for spool up. Lag is the gayest. Personally if it was me, I might look into a GT3255. From what I've read its very capable and spools fast.

It's not a Precision though, he wont be cool on Honda-Tech then.

im running a blox manifold with an sc61 on a b16a and i have no more lag than a t3/to4e does and im building a 1.8 setup as we speak. SC61 is efficient as hell...i got my **** before i realized there was a "bandwagon" of sc61'ers. I have a friend making 391 whp at only 17 psi on an sc61 and hes only got 9.1:1 compression GSR

I have a friend running the Inline Pro manifold with an SC61 and he just recently made 417whp on an LS with just pistons and rods. Car is very fun on the streets, plus he still has a/c.

I don't know about you, but needing 17 psi to make 390 WHP with a big SC61 doesn't sound overly impressive to me when there are people that have made 30 more WHP at 3-4 pounds less boost.
If you're at rods and pistons and only want about 400 WHP, the 57 trim will be fine for a while.
