Say hello to my little friend. PICS!!!
Just wanted to give a little update. I'm on a mission to represent for XXXXX. Usually XXXXX is dead last when it comes to new things. Hopefully this will bring us up to speed

Clock it right? I was under the understanding that the backdoor intercooler pretty much gets a straight shot off the turbo.
Also on the oil return, is it really that bad.... Earl's fittings are too expensive.

that is a sick setup </TD></TR></TABLE>
you wont have to redo any fittings, just cut out about 6 inches of oil line, and put it back together. Good thing you posted that, otherwise there wouldve been a new topic "My car is smoking really really badly!"

Clock your turbo so the oil return line is running perpendicular to the ground. After you do so, then remeasure the length needed for your oil return line. Oil drains from the turbo due to gravity so if you have it all cockeyed it will not drain properly, back up, and blow your oil seals out. The motor looks good other then that

I don't understand how the turbo can be reclocked with the backdoor setup. I'll have to check it out when everything comes together.
Anyone have any guesses on the power it'll make? I'm hoping the 84.5 bore will help with the torque.

You realize that you can move the three seperate pieces independantly when you clock it, right? (Compressor housing, Exhaust housing, and center section) You can leave the compressor/exhaust alone and just turn the center section so that the drain points straight down.

Sweet setup...I've been out to Biloxi and the Hattiesburg track and know how slow the cars are. Good to see something nice coming out of the area.

Re: Say hello to my little friend. PICS!!! (rondigs)
You have to move the oil return line, because when you accelerate the rearward g force isn't going to let any of that oil flow down. I've had the problem before and take it from me it sucks. The optimal solution would be to have the oil return actually coming out of the back of the turbo on a 45 degree angle, so that when you accelerate you'll actually be helping the oil to flow through the return.

Clocked that hoe!
Thanks for the suggestions. I just wish I had done it that way to begin with. Would've saved some money. If anyone needs some stainless line let me know.
