Same motor + Same turbo + Different chassis = Running rich?!?
Ok heres the motor / turbo info:
JSM D15b SOHC Vtec
Vitaras
HF manifold
DSM T25 turbo
DSM 450cc
Civic Si Fuel Pump (135lph)
FMIC
more but thats the meat of it
Running Crome
I had the same exact setup on my 94 Civic EX. I pulled it off that car when i sold the car and put it on my 92 Civic CX. The map was partially tuned before and ran fine. Good AFR's and made power. Now the car idles at 9.5 AFR and runs crazy rich.
After the swap I ran the Vtec wires.
I also had to run the map sensor wires to the shock tower plug (checked with voltmeter all the way to ECU and wiring is good) (CX didnt have a map sensore with stock motor but ran fine).
Also when i hit boost i throw a map sensor code now (NEVER happened with last chassis)
Things i know need to be fixed:
exhaust leak (downpipe and exhaust dont line up. About 1/4" gap)
timing: Need to double check that its set at stock timing through the dizzy
I am running the exact same bin right now because i know it worked before (will still be fine tuned).
Any ideas? Thanks

I think it would be a wiring issue also but have no idea where. Like i said the motor ran fine before put in this chassis. That leads me to bellieve its some of the wiring on the new CX chassis.

sounds like you could have a couple different issues. Is the cel on? Chip posibly popped out of the ecu?
You ran the vtec wires, but did you wire the 4 wire o2 wires? What are you using to read your AF? Datalogging with the stock O2 or a wideband?
Did you run this motor NA at all?
Oh yeah, what'd you ahve for a fuel pump in the other car? did you ahve an adjustable FPR on the old car? How bought the new one?

no I get a CEL when i hit boost.
Chip did not come out.
Im using an Innovate wideband for the AFR
I didnt run the O2 wires because the previous owner already had (for unknown reason). At least it looks done, havent checked his wiring.
Im gonna swap engine harnesses and see if that helps. I have an EX wiring harness here that once i add 2 plugs to ill be able to use.

Re: (T-RO)
My vote is to an o2 issue. The cx was 1wire o2, your old setup was on a 4wire o2 car. If not that... then the wiring for the o2 is offf... or the o2 sensor is not the same one you used in the EX?
