Default is it safe to run a 2" exhust with turbo?

my turbo will be goin on soon, and i was plannin on goin with the 3" thermal, but now that i look at my funds its lookin like that exhuast will have to come at a later date...

Right now i have a DC sports cat back.. not sure the size but im pretty sure its 2" or a lil more.. if i run a test pipe to this exhuast will i just loose power, or will it cause alot of backpressure and create alot of heat?

it will just be tempory till i save up for the thermal, maybe 1-2 months at .5bar on a LS..

you should be alright with any aftermarket exhaust. just keep the boost from going too high. you will want a test pipe or race cat in there also.
