Safe to drive my car 15 miles with valve tap, or get it towed?
As I detailed in this thread, https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=720660, my integra overrevved and the valve lash nuts came loose. The adjusting screws must have moved on a couple valves, and I'm now getting a tapping noise from the head. I'm getting a valve adjustment at the dealer (hopefully under warranty ), but the place is a good 15 miles away. Is it ok to drive my car that far with the valve tap, or should I get a tow? I'm asking this b/c the motor's already a bit worn from the past 20,000 miles of boost i've put on in the past 1.5 years, and another LS engine may be in order soon anyway.

I talked to AAA and it's only $3 per mile, so i'm gonna have it towed. Thanks for the replies, though. It makes me more confident that my engine's alright, since this all happened while I was out. I had to drive the car about 10 miles with the tapping to get it back to my house, where it's been since. I'll post in the original thread on Thursday if the valve adjustment solved everything. Ethan
