Its really personal preference. Ask your tuner what he likes to tune with and see which one he prefers. Both are very good and you can't go wrong with either. I would say ask your tuner which one he likes and go with it.

If you are only taking the car to the tuner and not tuning at all yourself. I would say go with Neptune. It will be a little cheaper and you will get the same results.

there have been numerous threads concering s300 vs neptune, its been discussed multiple times. i my self am going with neptune rtp. i have had close friends who've had s300 and have had good results. i myself have never useed neptune nor have any of my friends, so i thought idgive it a try...
but its like sd_lurker said, you cant go wrong with either of em....who is the tuner thats going to tune your vehicle?

Re: s300 or neptune (MeanGreenMachine)
honda ecu's cant use the t1 trigger. asked him about that. the ecu is not setup for a hall sensor.
made 710 on hondata s300.
stock dizzy msd 6al and a blaster ss coil
are you comparing s300 to regular neptune?
no comparison in terms of convenience. neptune = chips and a burner. s300 is flash. now if you are talking about rtp thats a little different.
i ran s200b last year and it was fine, this year i didnt want chips and wanted datalog. i think it is a great buy.

newptune has a nice system for launch control. hold the engine at a steady rpm for 2 seconds and then mat it, the launch controll will now be where you held it steady. hondata can only set a launch control with a laptop and the driver cant change the rpm easily. this sucks if you run street tires and slicks.

well that depends on s200 or s300
the s200 you can change it with the switch. there is a vid on how to do it:
http://hondata.com/s200media.html
the s300 you need a lap top yes, but again NO CHIPS! w00t!

i think with a neptune rtp you dont need to burn a chip, just tune it like hondata s300.

Re: (tony413)
The only differences between S300 & Neptune RTP:
S300 offers PWM boost control, on board logging and a heftier price tag.
Both can acheive the same numbers easily...if you NEED the features above, go S300. If you dont...
BTW...there is NO chip burning with either setup.
