Default S300 and datalogging AEM EUGO, few questions

Hello all, i've searched/researched this topic quite a bit and still have some questions.

I'm running an S300, and an AEM EUGO wideband. The wideband is pinned at D14 and configured appropriately in the software.

For some reason, the sensor is only logging between 0-1v, and I'm using what seems to be the 0-5v reference wire from the wideband. I still need to verify someone didnt cross the wire, going to get a meter tonight for that.

Questions,

1. Can you log more than 1v on the D14 pin?
2. I'm running in Open Loop, does that have any impact on the wideband reading at all? I understand that Open Loop basically ignores any reading from the 02 sensor.
3. Even if I'm only logging 1v, doesnt the reading below look funny at 70% throttle? I would expect a more flat reading based on what AF the car was running at that power/boost.

Pics of my config are attached. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Can't remember exactly, I think you need to use d10 not d14.
Check the hondata website. There's tons of info there and in the help file.

You can use d14 it won't read really lean a/f ratios like 17+. Is the stock o2 sensor still connected? Does the wideband have a 0-1v output? I does not seem to be a s300 configuration issue.

I found the issue, wideband 0-5v signal was loosely wrapped around the wire at D14. It pulled apart as I was taking the tape off.

Prior to unwrapping, I wasn't getting continuity from the 0-5v signal to d14. After re-wire I now have continuity.

I will verify tomorrow.... hopefully I'll now be reading properly.

Update:

After fixing the loose wire at pin D14, the S300 is still reading way off, but seems to be reading consistent and not bouncing around. It now reads around 10.4 :1 when the AEM Gauge is reading 14.4 : 1

THat seems to be a huge difference, and something that I would not expect to compensate with the voltage offset.

Thoughts?

Your voltage off set looks wrong compared to the link I posted

I see your point, Eddie.

However, the car is only logging around .31-.41 volts at D14, so even modifying the tables might not cut it.

Look at the switch on the back of the AEM controller, which mode is it set to?
Check the AEM manual for details on the mode switch.

Muckman, ace work. I called AEM and sure enough there is a switch (not easily noticed) on the back that was set to P03 and was limiting the voltage output to 0-1v.

Now that i've switched the gauge to P00, it is sending the appropriate voltage.

Thanks so much!!!

You should have the O2 0-5 output wired to d10 and remove R136 & R138 on the board. Set is up to 0v = 10:1 5v = 20:1 voltage offset should be at zero and the aem ground wire should be ran to the thermostat housing. Then go to options sensors and click AF and change it from lambda to air fuel and put your min at 10 and max at 20

You could do all this or just leave it the way it is and it just won't read 17:1 or leaner. Both are just as accurate otherwise. Mine is currently setup on the eld input but I have used the d14 input for many years also.
