Default S200 Converting to S300 --> Fuel Trim Question

Question:
In the parameters setting under the "fuel trim" tab, I know you need to put the injector size since it does not carry over from the S200 file. Now I'm thinking this answer is yes, but do you need to change your "overall", "cranking", and "throttle tip in" trims from the current value of 0% in the S300 to whatever they were in the S200? If so, how? Example: if my overall trim in the S200 is .251, will that translate to 25.1% in the S300? This is also for Precision 1000cc's if that helps at all. Thanks guys

Dude, welcome to tuning. Punch in some numbers, upload it to the s300 and see how the car responds. There is a learning curve and its much faster just to sit down and figure tuning stuff out then wait 24 hours for some idiot on Honda-tech to answer your question half correctly.

As for your specific questions, if your duty cycles are the same in the s200 and the s300 then you do not need to use the injector calculator. If they are dramatically different, then you need to apply that multiplier. I would assume that you need to punch the 25% in for the other multipliers though.

I'm not new to tuning by any means. What I am new to is converting S200 maps to S300 files. The reason I posted 24 in advance is because I was going to be getting in the car on Friday...hence posting on Thursday and seeing if I had any information to use before I tried things on my own. That's the best way to do it so you're not 100% blind at what it being attempted.

Since it is now Saturday, I can say that I left all the percentages at 0. I did not change anything in terms of values for ignition or fuel since my old tune was basically spot on. Interesting note is that the S300 makes the car much smoother and I didn't even change anything. The cold idle up is not as rich as the S200 was, and the normal cruising A/F's are more stable around 15:1 and not as jumpy as the S200's. I can already see I'm getting way better gas mileage haha. There was a problem with the program itself though, but I'll be making a new thread and I'll prove the link in here to it. Thank you for the input though once you got to it, it was appreciated.

Would have thought those last two posts would have been flip flopped. Generally I see you providing decent information.

i was goign to say, keep it at 0.

same **** in RomEditor 4.0.

although I would like to thank hondata for having a button that says "retard" ignition on the nitrous setting, which does not infact retard ignition but actually advances ignition.

have to say, that was a bit interesting to look at datalogs and notice timing increased when the spray kicked in.
