?'s and answers on : spark plugs for a 97 Turbo LS, EGT gauge
1st: do NOT use BK series NGK plugs, i got misinformed and used these plugs. they are for eclipses
-->use BCPR7es-11 for a colder plug.
2nd: on my manifold, it is tapped for an EGT gauge. if i wanted to plug that up, what would i use other than welding it back up? also, i lost that washer (the paper one you're not supposed to touch), where to get another one? or anyone offer an alternative to it?
3rd: i'm getting an exhaust leak, a small one, but i can't find it. all i hear is the tapping noise when i apply the gas pedal. any suggestions?

1: BCPR7ES-11 is great turbo plugs, also is the r5671a-8 for higher boost.
2: I have seen bolt and lock washer and seems to have held up and not fallen out
3: if you motor is really clean and there is a small leak in the exhaust system you will see blk carbon seeping thru ..
hope this helps

cool. i think it's coming from the egt probe. the tapped area is larger than the probe, add to that the fact that i lost that paper washer.
