I don't see why you can't hook up a afc and do it that way. I had it when i was a sohc and did it.

I actually made a post wondering if i can run an afc with the blue box and i was told it was impossible. here is the response i got-
No. Because of 2 reasons:
1. Both items modifiy the MAP signal. For example, if you hookup the AFC after the blue box, the AFC will get a modified MAP signal which won't have any meaning for you because who knows what the blue box is doing to the MAP signal..
2. Perhaps the main reason, the Greddy blue box is wired to the injector lines directly, so they override the ECU injector signals. The AFC would have no control the injectors once the blue box starts driving the injector lines.

an fpr is only going to regulate the pressure, not the mixture

Yeah but you can drop your static fuel pressure so less fuel is injected per pulse.

Just doing a little searching and I found this. Do you mean Greddy E-manage? If you do, you guys are funny. You can get the E-manage software off the net for free and if you have a labtop you can tune your vehicle with a WB Air/Fuel gauge. I bought the PLX m-300 a couple days ago for $320 shipped form streetrays.com. It's a plug-and-play unit so install is as simple as screwing it in and running a power wire. I am going to make a setup so I can plug the unit into my cig lighter. Also, I bought a converter for my AutoMeter Air/Fuel that turns it's readings into wideband, it was only $40. As you can tell I don't want the bright *** red PLX monitor in front of my face all the time. Oh, and I was wonder about what air/fuel mixture would be ideal for my H22 turbo. I am running .45 bar and on a stock bottom end with E-manage. I was thinking 13.0, but I have seen alot of H22 people on here running around 12.0. Damn that's pretty rich, but I guess you should rather be safe then sorry.

Holly ****!!!
tread back from the death!!!
Greddy E-manage is a programmable device.
Greddy blue box isn't programable in any way.
what is your setup to convert the air fuel into a wideband read up.
I'm confused about this one. To me, it look like you need a wide band sensor to get a wide band reading man!
no narrow band O2 sensor is gona read a full wide band signal??
is this just me or am I fucked up in my theorie???

Yeah I know, I was doing a search. You are right though, you need the wideband unit to use the converter. I just want the converter because the digital display would get annoying sitting there in front of me all the time, it's friggin bright. Here's the link if it helps:

mine use to be like that, get a FPR and turn the fuel down a bit, it will run so much better, i was at 52 PSi idel with my blue box, i run like 36 PSi and 42-45 ish WOT and it runs nice, a bit rich but better then mad denation, and thats for a D Series Turbo, Lean out the fuel so the blue box won't mix so much, my blue box is leaving soon i can't wait
