yes and no.
It'll keep you from overheating like you would if you were running too lean but it doesn't really have a cooling effect per say. Running real rich will just give you a shitload of carbon buildup, foul out your plugs early, and take out your converter long before it's time.

hmm, maybe its a bad thermostat than.. the temp gauge on the cluster is just above the C (lowest mark)
*hopefully* going to get tuned friday.. . and i ordered a new thermostat.. .
edit - when the temp is this low, is it damaging to drive? and also, when i try and boost it stutters badly

a honda just doesnt run the same when its cold, no vehicle does, especially one with vtec. I wouldnt drive it hard if its running that cold.. I'm not even sure if its possible for it to run that cold to be honest. Maybe your getting a faulty reading.
