Default running pig rich on new build!!!?

ok well heres the set up

in a 92 da (DB2)
b20 sleeved
8.9:1 weisco's
eagle rods
b16 head with type r cams
e85
gm 3 bar map
dsm 950cc with resistor box
running crome

now when i start it it WILL NOT run with out some throttle open. the second it closes it dies out. there is tons of un used fuel in my exhaust,
the car shakes bunch. i went to my tuner and had 25% fuel take outta the base map. still same resaults. theres fuel on the pistons as well.

any imput will be appriciated.
ium sitting here in our shop. just waiting for advice...

is there a such thing as dsm 950cc or is that a typo?

sounds like its surely tune related, shot injector, crazy fuel pressure. i had a similar problem with this when my map wasnt set for the correct map sensor i was using.

im assuming your tuner is doing your base maps, what are his thoughts? i have never heard of 950cc DSM injectors... injector stuck open maybe??

hmm im running a very similar motor in my car, b20 sleeved same pistons/rods, b16 head, 1000cc injectors. I had the issue with the car bucking/shaking violently under 2500rpm in 1st/2nd gear. Just had my tuner adjust the a/f ratio in that range.
What I am very curious about is my car needs gas on the initial start up as well for about 30 seconds then it will idle fine. It is driving me crazy too so if anyone has some input I could use it as well.

did you hit it with a timing light? are all cylinders getting spark? was the distributor wiring touched at all? injector plugs swapped at all?

If you are using crome and if they are really 950cc dsm injectors which I've never heard of before, try taking that injectors size and multiply it by .60 and input that as ur new injector size. then apply fuel tools in crome into ur rom and increase slowly til it idles fine. this should make ur cranking easier also. good luck

Get a wideband and have it actually tuned instead of the basemap.
