Default running feedline w/o oil sensor, can i do it?

like the title says, can i just run the car without that sensor or will something catastrophic happen?

If you run without the sensor your "oil pressure low" warning light will never light. That's fine if you check your oil regularly.

ok good now i can save myself a headache of taking my adapter off and seeing where the leak is coming from, i will just run the straight feedline, thx

nothing catasrophic will happen but I believe your low oil light will come on.

Honestly, the best thing to do is buy a sandwhich that goes on before the oil filter, it has ports on the side for gauges AND oil feed.

I have had many different setups, from tee'ing them all off of one location on the firewall to others and I think the sandwhich is the cleanest.

I got one that lets me run an external oil cooler also on my ride.

Doing it the way I said, you can leave the oil sensor on still too...

better to have it man,, ur oil pressure light won read right,, always check ur oil,, running turbo and that new motor u dont know how fast ur oil will burn if it does,, no oil= ruin turbin,, just trying to help but ur going to do what you want..

cars done chad, running and all, i am gonna take a break in run to Statesville later maybe, depends on the weather. i already took a test run and its squirmy as hell

I don't run the oil pressure switch with my setup, but then again I check my oil regularly and have an oil pressure gauge. I've always heard it's a dummy light that doesn't come on until it's too late anyways.

yea, thats what i was told, thats why i went ahead and ran it without it
